Unwise Guys

In this 7 minute short, a young gangster can't seem to do anything right. Kaitlyn wrote, directed, edited, and executive produced this hilarious homage to Goodfellas. She still sites the day she filmed and wrapped this short to be the best day of her life. You can watch it here. The blooper reel, also edited by Kaitlyn, is linked here.
Delivery

This is Kaitlyn's proudest achievement. It is a comedy/thriller that follows a pizza delivery driver who decides to steal an unattended bag of money- a choice that threatens to ruin his night. It was written, directed, edited, and executive produced by Kaitlyn, and was made with a crew of 10 friends. Fun fact: the mobster is played by her uncle! You can watch it here.
A Gift For My Girl

This film was made for a Cinema Production class project. The prompt was to make a black and white, silent film under 5 minutes. Class partners, Kaitlyn and Gianna, got right to work, pulling inspiration from Charlie Chaplin and Mabel Normand. Much like most of Kaitlyn's work, this film is a comedy. You can watch it here.
A Documentary on Emanuel Parada Peralta

This film was also prompted as a class project, this time for Creating Multimedia Content. Kaitlyn's good friend, Emanuel "Eman" Peralta, was gracious enough to allow her to film some of his life's story. Kaitlyn has since improved her editing skills, but she is still very proud of this work. You can watch the film here.
The Clean Freak

This is the first film Kaitlyn produced. In the first semester of her freshman year, executives of Elon University's student film production company, Cinelon Productions, noticed her work ethic. They reached out with the opportunity to produce this film: "The Clean Freak." It follows an obsessive young man who spends his days cleaning the world around him, which may have put him in danger. You can watch the film here.
Confessions of A Productive Mind

Kaitlyn also produced this satirical short film. Pictured above is a behind the scenes photo. From left to right, there is Nina, the production designer, Kaitlyn, and Trinity the makeup artist. The film follows a fourth-wall-breaking sociopath who will do anything for a promotion. You can watch the film here.
Kaitlyn Hannan by Kaitlyn Hannan

This was another class project for Cinema Production, which focused on editing. We had to show our "essence" in an experimental film, with little to no footage of ourselves. I definitely leaned into the experimental aspect of it, and I'm proud of the result. You can watch the film here.
Brick Detective

This unscripted sketch was my idea, and it was the first time I ever got to be the director of photography. It's based on an Elon University tradition, where students steal bricks from the ground to celebrate big milestones in their lives. The film follows a detective trying to find the missing bricks. You can watch it here.
Tough Criticism

This was for another Cinema Production project with my class partner Gianna Smurro. The prompt was to make a film with a societal message. When coming up with our idea, we both lamented about the growth of anti-feminist male podcasters and how women are villainized in the media. The end result was this film. You can watch it here.
What Is Elon Tonight?

This unscripted sketch was also my idea. It makes fun of the fact that almost no one on campus knows who we are, in an effort to actually promote our brand. I produced and edited this one. You can watch the film here.
Uwera vs The First Years

This film has a similar goal as "What Is Elon Tonight?" We needed to figure out how to promote our show to the incoming first years, so I came up with this idea where my friend Uwera would play a fictionalized version of herself who believes that all first years applied to Elon in the hopes that they could join our organization. You can watch it here.
Dreamers

This was the first script Kaitlyn ever wrote. She brought it to the first Elon Tonight meeting of her freshman year, knocking the socks off of the current show producers. The film stars one of her most frequent collaborators and her best friend, Uwera Izabayo. You can watch the film here.
